Registered individual non-government schools

Individual non-government schools are those that operate independently of, or do not form part of, a registration system.

An existing registered non-government school must continue to satisfy the requirements for registration throughout its period of registration.

Applications for renewal of registration must be made using Form 2 and lodged with the Office of the Board of Studies at least nine (9) months before the expiry of the school's current period of registration.

In addition, if a registered school wishes to enter candidates for the award of the School Certificate and/or Higher School Certificate, it must be accredited or apply for accreditation.

Applications for renewal of accreditation must be made using Form 2 and lodged with the Office of the Board of Studies at least nine (9) months before accreditation expires.

Form 2 may be accessed and submitted electronically by registered schools logging on to RANGS Online and using the 'Work with Applications Forms' link. Word and PDF versions of the form may be accessed using the Form 2 link.
