When a user has clicked on a link to another site, they leave the Office of the Board of Studies NSW site and are no longer protected by the OBOS NSW Privacy conditions.
Website Use Statement
We may collect and store information for statistical purposes. For example, we may count the number of visitors to the different sections of our site to help us make them more useful to visitors. Our server logs record such things as the user's IP address, the date and time of the visit to the site, the pages accessed and documents downloaded, the previous site visited and the type of browser used.
No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect our server logs. This information is analysed frequently to determine the site's usage statistics.
By sending us an electronic mail message, you may be sending us personal information (eg name, address, email address). We may store this information provided by you in order to respond to the request or to otherwise resolve the subject matter of your email. The email address and the contents of your email are stored in a secure area within our system and will not be used for any other purpose nor disclosed without your consent.
Some of our sites ask visitors who request specific information to fill out registration forms. Other information that may be collected at these sites through questionnaires, feedback forms or other means enables us to determine a visitor's interests, with the goal of providing better service to our customers.
We want to be very clear: regardless of the information being transmitted to the Office of Board of Studies NSW, we will protect all such information in a way consistent with applicable law.

Information for Users with Visual Disabilities
Images on our website are accompanied by alternative text describing graphics. ALT-text on graphics that are used to create page design are simply left blank in accordance with current practice.
We are committed to making the documents on our website accessible to the widest possible audience. Documents on our website are presented in many formats. These formats are generally accessible to users using screen reading software. Many files are posted as Adobe Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format) files. We appreciate the efforts of Adobe and other developers to address the accessibility issues concerning PDF files. As technology develops we look forward to being able to offer 'fully' accessible PDF files on our website.
In cases where we are providing PDF files without an alternative web version or MS Word document version, users with visual disabilities can click here for free access to software from Adobe which will make reading PDF files easier.
You have the option of going to Adobe's Access website, filling out an HTML form and converting it from a PDF file to HTML on-the-fly. Enter the web address of the PDF file and Adobe's Access server will download the PDF document, translate it and return it to you in your browser application.

Another option is to send an email message to the Adobe Access server, submitting the address of the document to be translated or sending the document as an attachment. You can submit multiple URLs in a single message as well as submit multiple PDF files. The server will then translate the PDF file or files into either a web page or a text (ASCII) document.
